My Spanish Dress and the Spanish Fair Essay -- Observation Essay, Descr
At eleven o'clock I am wishing my shoes did not have hobnails in them as I noisily tread down the tranquil street lined with four-o-clocks and horse stables. I try unsuccessfully to not let my footfalls disturb this peaceful night. Silently, I curse myself for deciding to wear this heavy Spanish dress loudly swishing at my ankles. Agitated, I tug at my hair and red shawl. At the comer a rainbow of people spreads out before me. The appetizing aromas of warm bread, seafood, and sherry surge over me and instill a craving. Vibrant colors reflect from the resplendent dresses my friends wear. We greet each other with two kisses and saunter under an arch of lights to the Spanish Fair, la Feria. From the left, screams of delight ascend from the rides on the other side of the Feria. We continue strolling on the gritty dirt road lined with stucco buildings called casetas. From these buildings drift a stifled blend of music and laughter. Families assemble together while eating and telling stories. Children and teenagers are captivated, as their fathers and grandfathers relate (with exaggerated hand gestures) funny stories and old tales. Most men don riding attire: vests, riding boots, chaps, and black wide-brimmed hats. A few women are dressed traditionally as well, in long skirts, riding boots, and amazona jackets. Many more women wear Sevillana dresses like ours. Some even wear the exquisitely hand-embroidered silk shawls called mantones. These dresses have a Gypsy style, heavy with lace and fabric. We all have the same type of shoes although some are more broken in than others. My shoes are new and the stubborn leather constricts my feet. The hobnails, used as taps, make sli ght clicking sounds on the and dirt underfoot. We enter a... ...tly. My wrists rotate and I delicately twist my fingers in the moist air as my hand-made red and black dress swishes with each pass I make. The long fringes of my manton swing smoothly at my sides as I dance with the clapped rhythm. I dance without stopping as each ancient song blends into the next. As the hours pass by I know I could dance fortever and forget about tomorrow. The air at seven a.m. is warmed with the rising sun. Perfumed four-o-clocks are sleeping peacefully, and the scent of the ocean pervades as the new morning begins. My dress sways pleasantly at my ankles. My disheveled hair plays around my face and my manton hangs crooked but comfortably on my shoulders. My legs and feet are exhausted but the nails tap flawlessly on the gritty earth. Their cadence refreshes the sensation I felt earlier while dancing, and I am proud to wear my Spanish dress.

Management education in India is a new concept as because the preferred careers in the 1940s and the 50s were medicine and engineering and in the 1960s and 70s the IAS and the Central services, the craze since the 1980s has been for management and IT Jobs. As a result, there has been an explosion in the number of business schools in India. Management study is very popular for imbibing versatility and multi-tasking abilities As the demand for management education grows so do the challenge and opportunities too. Today business schools in India face the challenge of creating an indigenous model of management curriculum. Although the area of action to implement management education is a global one but it is also necessary for the curriculum to reflect local aspirations. For eg: curriculum should focus on local case studies where the management principles are broadly examined, questioned and streamlined to meet the challenges of the local/national business environment optimistically. Unfortunately, Indian Business schools vary widely in terms of the caliber of the faculty, quality of curriculum, infrastructure, and placement record. Apart from the premier list of B Schools in India the academic standards of most of he B Schools are not upto the mark. In fact at the low end of the spectrum we find institutes charge exorbitant fee from gullible students but provide negligible academic value addition. The other challenges facing management education in India is to promote research and establish a global quality assurance and accreditation system and above all to continue working upon to improve against the competitors to enhance its ranking is a challenging task for every institute.

For this reason, there must have knowledge of the structure of the companys relationship along with its magnitude, which can be assumed to have the contribution in the relationship (Golicic Mentzer, 2005). Therefore the study has been done including the exploration and the expansion of the research for the contribution of the drivers in the process of influencing of the magnitude of the relationship. For this reason, the study came out with the findings of eight types of drivers, i.e., capabilities, external influence, history, importance, expected benefits, interpersonal interaction, performance along with the strategy congruence. Part B Strength and Weakness of Article 1 The research activities depicted in the two selected articles have to be reviewed especially in the context of the strengths and weaknesses of the research methodologies used by each of the research processes. The journal articles refer to research on the identification of the influencing factors behind the determination of the magnitude of relationships within organizations and the consideration of human factors which are crucial for instating fire safety measures (Subramaniam, 2004). The research methods utilized in each research activity can be considered as profound excerpts of the conventional aspects associated with research such as data collection and analysis methods. However, the most significant part of research activity is observed in the data analysis part which reflects on the content analysis. The scope of primary data collection could be considered as strength for the research as it enables the acquisition of relevant and comprehensive data about research topic. The use of primary data collection methods such as interviews, surveys, questionnaires and focus groups are meant for facilitating a flexible platform for interaction between the sample population and the researcher. The researchers first-hand interaction with the respondents results in derivation of credible information which would not be acquired through the secondary research or review of the literature. A collection of data from the ground level forms a crucial aspect of the research activity and hence primary data collection methods are preferred for the multitude of information generated from the process (Golicic Mentzer, 2005). Primary data collection is also associated with the advantages of data obtained which are clearly reflected in the comprehensiveness and diversity of data. The association of respon dents with varying technical proficiency could be reflected in the variety obtained in the primary data. However, the weaknesses of primary data collection could be observed in the structural definitions of various methods used for primary research. Strength and Weakness of Article 2 In Article 2, Secondary data collection is also a prominent entity in the selected research journals. The process of secondary research is characterized by the extraction of a comprehensive impression of the literature related to the research topic and the various research publications and academic work which reflect appropriately on the research issue. Furthermore, secondary research methods also help in the realization of minimal investment of resources especially in terms of finance (Subramaniam, 2004). The additional issues which could be reflected with regard to secondary research have to be realized in the context of the implications of negligence for relevant factors associated with research issue. The disadvantage of the secondary data collection is also observed in the diversity of the information which could not be collated flexibly according to the research issue. The use of content analysis, as well as coding system for representing the information obtained from the data collection methods, is also observed in the journal articles. The consideration of information coding is helpful in defining standard units for recording and storage of information as well as increasing the flexibility of research (Golicic Mentzer, 2005). However, the coding system could create additional ambiguities for the researcher without precise translation of the information stored in coded form.
